Booming Paralegal Field  

Paralegal EDU just released the results of a months-long assessment of more than 250 accredited schools offering pre-degree certificate programs in paralegal studies. They chose which programs to recognize based upon a number of factors. Alber Enterprise Center’s Paralegal Certification course was recognized by Paralegal EDU as one of the best programs in Ohio for Paralegals to earn their certificate. Good timing, since the field of paralegals is expected to grow by 15% over the next eight years. Read Full Story

Center Staff Present at National Conference

Kori Montgomery, Project Coordinator and Certified CliftonStrengths® Coach with Alber Enterprise Center and Myra Wilson, Director, recently presented at the NACDEP (National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals) 2018 Annual Conference in Cleveland, Ohio.  The conference was attended by nearly 200 professionals from across the country. Kori focused a session on the concept and benefits of understanding strengths, while Myra's session was about the program, "Putting Elders First..."


Center Recognized at NACDEP 

Anne Johnson, Senior Organization Development Consultant, Alber Enterprise Center of Ohio State University Extension was recently recognized as a national award runner-up by the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (NACDEP) at their 2018 Annual Conference in Cleveland, Ohio.  She received the award for the program, “Crossing Boundaries: Collaborating for Ohioans in Senior Living Communities.”  In addition, a team from Alber Enterprise Center was recognized at this conference, receiving the regional runner-up award for “Putting Elders First: Connections that Impact Ohioans in Senior Living Communities.”  Read More
